Time travel seems possible but I have no way to test it. Firing an AK-47 with BP rounds seems possible, and I have a way to test it.
Anyway, I picked up 40rds of UMC 7.62x39 brass, and I've ordered reloading dies. I'm thinking I'll just go with the 123gr FMJ bullets I have, friction be damned - looks like it'll work, too. I'd just rather avoid having to remove lead from the barrel/gasport if I can.
Picked up a stainless bolt and carrier to go with my chrome-lined barrel, too! I'm trying to make cleanup as easy on myself as I can.
I'll let you folks know my progress after the dies arrive.
