I went through the same thing. I did not find one place with all the info I needed. They are all almost the same. If you get one with a key pad, be sure it has a key for emergencies. There is a youtube showing a couple of guys opening a Liberty in under two minutes. The key to protecting your safe is to bolt it to the floor. I also position mine in a garage corner so that the hinges are on the far side away from that corner. You can't turn it over (bolted down) and the wall blocks the pry bars.

Thanks guys, I knew I would get some answers here. I was looking for a "one place does it all" kind of forum, but I guess I'll just do alot of surfing.

Do a search on gun safes here

Also search using Sturdy, AMSEC, or Fort Knox. Users to search for are a1abdj, CB900F.

The opinions offered here will significantly differ from the general views of people who sell gun safes as their primary business.
