I am looking for a Valtro. There is one listed on GunsAmerica, but I have red flags flying left and right. First of all, I dont like GunsAmerica's format as well as Auction Arms or Gun Broker. Secondly, the guy listing on GA doesn't write a good description. Additionally, he says to call for details and doesnt leave a phone number. Also, there is no photo of the pistol, hmmmm. This auction has been on GA for at least a month. :scrutiny:

Is anyone familiar with GA? Don't they have a feedback feature? I have learned over the years to pay attention to my gut feeling, and it is telling me to beware. Check out the auction and see what you think. http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976289218.htm
I have emailed the seller, we'll see if/what he has to say.

I have bought and sold guns on GunsAmerica, but would never buy when I had any doubt as to the outcome.
The Valtro is available at local shops for a bit more, but then you can buy without the butterflys in your stomach.

If you are looking for a Valtro, also try the following dealerships in the Bay Area, California:

Bullseye Precision Indoor Range, Marin County
(415) 453-7465

Target Masters West, Milpitas
(408) 263-7468

I'll never sell my Valtro.

Do yourself a favor - get a new Valtro and if possible, spend some time with Jardine.

Rumor has it that some of the Valtros (like the ones in Canada) have not recieved Jardines blessings and are not of the same quality. This is only rumor, but it would be enough to make me pay attention.

I could never sell mine - if only because the Valtro is as much an experience as a gun and I feel I could never replace it - even if I got another one, it would not be the same.

Good luck.

Thanks guys!
I would prefer to buy from Jardine first, but he is all jammed up at present. I would love to spend some time with him, but being in Washington State, thats not real practical. A dealer is my second choice, but no one has a Valtro. Imagine that! I have called most of the deakers on ValtroUSA's website. I'll finish calling on Monday.

If anyone hears or knows of a Valtro for sale, please let me know!

Thanks!

Most folks buy a Valtro by going on someones list and waiting for a call. The usual condition is no Valtros in stock. Put yourself on a list with someone and get things going.
