Gunsmith recommendation - Phoenix \ Scottsdale

Can anyone recommend a gunsmith in the Phoenix \ Scottsdale area. I know that Scottsdale Gun Club lists having a gunsmith, so I wonder if anyone has actually used them and what their experience was.

I have used Paul Wysocki at Caswells shooting range in Mesa. I think he does great work and will work with you to make sure it is correct. He is busy so the turn around time is some times slow.

Jeff Mangum, Magnum Precision, 602 200 0943, Location: Shooter's World. He is also busy but that is a good indication in the quality of work that he does. I would be leery of anyone who isn't busy. I have known Jeff for 20+ years.

I second the recommendation for Jeff Mangum at Shooter's World. Don't know what you need but Jeff did an absolute perfect trigger job on a S&W 642 for the wife. Best trigger job we've had done for her. Turned it around over night for me...thanks Jeff.

If you are ever up in the Prescott area I know a great gun smith. His name is Rich Eckert he can fix almost anything, and has his own machine shop.

What do you need worked on? If it is a S&W revolver or a 1911, there is Nelson Ford, on 32nd St. near the 51 freeway in north Phoenix.
