Right now, just ask the admins/faculty "Hey, what are you guys doing to keep me safe?"

Talk to your friends. Talk to your classmates. Talk to your dorm neighbors.

And on Wednesday, start getting a visual message out where folks can see it. Copies are cheap. Heck, the 'rents probably gave you a card to use to make copies. Now, you can buy a six-pack of beer, or you can make a buncha copies and buy some tape or thumbtacks...

On Friday, you're going to want to step up the calls and e-mails, and start asking about "why can't people carry concealed weapons to keep them safe?"

Anyone here on staff at any school newspapers or radio/tv stations? Anyone have the chance to be on staff? We need to infiltrate.

Also, you might be in a school where they don't value the first amendment very much, and stuff has to be approved before going up. My thoughts on that are put more up, and don't get seen by cameras. Your thoughts should vary depending on your own circumstances.

Here are links to a bunch of Oleg's images. These are free for pro-gun use.

Good for near near a "gay student union" office, if you've got one...

Did Oleg make any images that specifically addressed carrying on campus? Those could be very poignant right now, with all the campus shootings, and the recent tradgedy that befell one student on my campus.

They're right there in the middle.

I guess I feel like those that address CCW on campus make more sense in context. If I posted those around campus, I feel like half of the people who saw them would say, "***? This person is trying to get me to carry a gun on campus? Is that even allowed?" As opposed to what I would be trying to get them to think, more like, "What? A 21yr old + trained and certified by the sherriff's office to carry a gun isn't allowed to here? Thats awful! We must change that!"

A lot of the one or twoliners that are in these posters seem to cater to someone who already understands the argument that CCW on campus could have stopped VT or other school shootings that have happened, while most people, at least on my campus, haven't even considered arming faculty or allowing students to CCW.

So maybe now I can ask, anyone know of a picture that is more self-explanatory, and aimed at the layman (college student age 18-25)?

EXAMPLE:

But maybe more with Oleg's wit and powerful images, rather than a bland poster like the one I referenced.

Idea is to get them thinking, give them time to think, and then ramp it up a little... I'm guessing that at a lot of the schools, the administrators probably went to their underlings this morning (Monday was Presidents' Day), and said "Have something on my desk on Friday about what we can do about improving campus security."

They are more open to a message right now.

If we increase the pressure right now, and students on this system get their friends, classmates and dorm neighbors to participate, we have a darn good chance of making some positive changes.

"Uh, sir, we've had 250 calls this morning asking if we'll allow the students to have guns to protect themselves, and the newspaper wants an interview on that subject..."

Keep up the pressure, and INCREASE the pressure.

After a little seaching, I found this, which I believe to be Oleg's work.

I believe it to be absolutely PERFECT. It summarizes the issue effectively, and gives a solution.
