I am purchasing either an H&K P2000 or an H&K P2000SK and need opinions on holsters for them. I have looked at these:

1. Comp-Tac C-TAC
2. High Noon (Split Decision & Bare Asset) - They are stocking items so I can get them shipped asap.
3. Don Hume, IWB STRIKE : Holster Tuckable

That's all that I can find for the H&Ks that I've found with positive comments. What other holsters will fit this firearm comfortably and if you have had any experience with the above holsters, please leave comments!

This is for CCW IWB

Thanks!

Kevin

I have heard really good things about Comp-Tac and High Noon. I had a Comptacfor my Kimber and I liked it very much. I have no experience with High Noon other than reading they are a good manufacturer.

I really recommend the Versamax II by www.miltsparks.com but it is a long wait. If you get lucky and can find one at www.lightningarms.com I would suggest buying it right on the spot.

What are you going to do with it--CCW? Use it at the range?

That said, I own an Aker Classic 3-slot and a Don Hume 721 (leather belt holsters w/thumb break). They work about the same; best for OWB under a jacket or cover shirt. The problem is that I don't usually wear my pants up above my hips (it's the style, yo), and I live where T-shirts and shorts are the norm. I also use a Galco Belly Band, but I learned very quickly that the P2000 is the most uncomfortable carry gun I have.

FWIW.

I don't have that gun, but ...

I can tell you about the Bare Asset. I like them for what they are, an inexpensive holster that will do the job until I can get a really good one made. (High Noon will make those for you, too.) They do hold and carry the gun quite well, but are a real nuisance to get the gun into, due to being made of soft leather.

Don Hume is a good "value for the money" maker. When I cross referenced by your gun model I didn't see any of the models you mentioned as being made for it. The one IWB (inside the waistband, the type you seem to be looking for) they showed was the H715. I have one for a Glock 19. It is well made but its design does not work well for me, sitting too low in the waistband as well as being vertical, which makes the gun butt stick out from my butt. ;)

I'm very pleased with my UBG Canute for my S&W MP9C. Don't neglect a good belt. I'm also very pleased with my Beltman.

Not all USPc holsters will work though because the ambi slide release. I believe there is a new flat slide release avilable. I will try to dig up more information but I saw a thread on it on HKPro.

Have had great luck with the Comp-tac Infidel IWB holster for my P2000. Quick on and off, stable and amazingly comfortable for a kydex IWB holster.

You really cant go wrong with the CTAC as you've mentioned. No experience with it here but it's gotten rave reviews.

Blackhawk! makes a leather IWB holster for the P2000.

I have one for my SIGPRO 2340 and have one on order for my P2000. It's pretty good, but I prefer my Gould and Goodrich version that I used with my Beretta.
