How's it going guys? I am thinking about buying an H & R Buffalo Classic in 45-70. Just wondering if any body has had any experience with these rifles. What kind accuracy can I expect? Is it worth $350 to $400 price tag? Anything you have to say whether it be good or bad would be helpful. Thanks.

I like mine alot, cant comment on the accuracy of it yet, still trying to get it dialed in with black powder loads. However from what I am seeing so far it looks to be able to shoot at least 3 inchs or so at 100 yrds. Of course I think it will do better than that. If you get it order the upgraded sights from h&r's website, they are around 50 bucks.

I am shooting black powder rounds out of it so far and like I said I really like it.

I have one; and it is always a favorite at the range. I shoot the mild
factory loads and it is not too bad to kick. Accuracy seems good.
I think mine was less than 300- as I found one used. I see the price
is north of 400 now. Overall a decent rifle.
