Ouch!
Grab the Aloe Vera is right.
I haven't done this with a glue gun personally, have seen what they can do.

My best burn was heating a pc of 18k gold, cherry red, the holding tweezers "I thought" were not close enough to be heated. I grabbed tweezers, I didn't feel the pain, I smelled the skin burn first, had to pull the tweezers from thumb and index finger...skin and all. I said a few "words" and used Aloe Vera. Took a bit to have prints again..."Be sure of target and what is beyond", perhaps my negligence.

Steve ...... OUCH indeed .. hell, cherry red Ag .... my that is HOT!!! Mind you ... burning flesh ... been there ... in my case 50W soldering iron ..... more than once. Phew - it stinks!! (stench first - pain later :p )
Took a bit to have prints again
Ah well .. that is the time when you go do the ''bank job'' ........... :D :D

When I was a kid I was put in this group who was going to build this plantation house or something out of sugar cubes and pop cicle sticks. I was in like 5th grade and they gave us hot glue guns. By the end of the project we had all burned ourselves more time than we could count and truly hated our teacher for that assignment.

Cute, Mike. ;)

Aloe's good stuff, but if your burn's large enough, infection's a serious danger. Keep antibiotic ointment over the burn when you shed the skin over it. Keep a healthy bandage over it, and keep it clean.

Oh, BTW, this thread's O.T.
