I've fired over 2000 rounds of Winchester White Box (WWB) and never had a single failure. I know several people who fire it almost exclusively and use much much more of it than I do.

FTF = Failure to Feed or Failure to Fire?

If you have a gun that misFEEDS WWB one out of four, what you really have is A GUN WITH A PROBLEM.

If you have a gun that misFIRES WWB one out of four, what you really have is A GUN WITH A SERIOUS PROBLEM!

Don't try and blame it on the ammo.
WWB is not the cleanest nor the most accurate ammo around but it's known to go BANG an extremely high percentage of the time.

Now, having said that, I have seen a few WWB 9mm rounds that had some bullet seating problems but that's just poor factory inspection. It happens all of the time on high speed production lines. The big factories load ammo on machines that make a Dillon Super 1050 look like it's operating in slow motion.

Any serious ammo should be case gaged or checked with the chamber of the gun you intend to use it in. I check my carry ammo and I check all ammo for any big match or even a little match that I have to invest a lot of driving time in. Case gages are cheap, suprises are not.

Bluesbear, I respect your opinion, but in this case your dead wrong about it being a problem with my pistol. By FtF, I meant Failure to Fire, and there isn't a single thing wrong with the gun (Ruger P90). Since that day of misfires, I have fired, oh, maybe around 3000 rounds through that gun without a hiccup. Shoot, that very DAY I probably fired another 50 or so rounds of Wolf ammo without a problem. Maybe they do have a reputation for going bang frequently, and maybe I just got stuck with a bad lot or something, but I have shot tons of Wolf and tons of CCI with little to no problems since then, and it has earned my confidence. The WWB (And, by the way, I am stoked that I guessed that acronym right...) failed spectacularly enough that I will never buy nor recommend that ammo again. If you want confirmation about the reliability of this particular gun, ask Rockstar.Esq. He is my real-life shooting buddy (and buddy in general), and he has shot that gun. He doesn't care for Rugers, and he even went so far as to buy me a new recoil spring for that gun a few months back, but he will tell you that if nothing else, that gun functions perfectly and cycles through darn near everything. Anyhoo, I am going to blame the ammo, and rightfully so.

Incidentally, I also used the same magazine. I have 5 mags for that pistol that I use, but that particular mag is my favorite, in part because its the easiest to load for some reason.
