Hair Weave stops bullet

Quite plausible... no mention is made of the caliber, but if fired through a front/rear widshield the bullet could have spent it's energy or deflected off the interior and ended up in her hair

Lucky lady...

and nice pun hankdatank1362!

Just saw the clip on the news. I say BS. Their is more to the story. It either hit of something, through something or was an airsoft gun.

They said on the local K.C. news last night it was a "small caliber" round.

Also showed the cars rear window shot out.

I'm guessing a .22LR or .25 ACP hit the window, lost all its energy on the glass and/or flattened and bounced / stuck in her hair.

It also appeared she had a heavy hair clip under there to hold her hair in place.

At any rate, there wasn't enough hair there to stop a large caliber bullet going at a full-tilt boggy.

I saw her interviewed this morning, the bullet did go through the back windshield before hitting her hair weave.

We need to get those extensions into the field, and we need to get them there, now.

more testing needs to be done before we get it out to our boys in combat; namely can the Weavinator Wigs stop multiple, repeated hits from high caliber weapons?

DOD body armor woes are over.

i worked a suicide once where a gentleman shot himself in the head but the round bounced off of a wall and then landed unscathed on a pillow beside the deceased. I feel its safe to say that the window saved her life, not a weave.

40 cal

St. Louis news last night said it was a 40 caliber projectile. They talked to the lady, she didn't seem upset at all. Just another day.

I think you mean "magazine," don't you?

^Now that's funny. I had to change my shirt because I spewed coffee all over myself.

Seriously, though, it must have been one of those pansy .380s or maybe a 9mm, which everyone know is so weak.
