Hello,
Does anyone here have any experience with the Haltom City Rifle & Pistol Club?
I'm thinking of joining and wanted to get some more information.
What do you think of the club?
Do they have a pistol range on which you can practice anywhere from close to longer range shooting (e.g., 7 to 50 yards)?
What are the distances for the rifle range?
Can you fire your rifle from a variety of field positions (e.g., offhand, braced, kneeling, etc.) or just from a benchrest position?
Do the members have a problem with target rifles based on military patterns such as those used at the Camp Perry competitions (e.g., accurized AR-15s and M-1As)?
Are there any additional rules specific to the pistol and/or rifle ranges that are not listed in your general rules portion of your website?
Is there a facility for shotguns to be patterned with buckshot?
Lastly what hours of the day can members shoot?
Thanks for your input.
