Hand held Priming Tool

Not a hand-held unit but I can recommend the Lee "Auto Prime II". They stopped making a while ago back so you'd have to find a used one. I found mine used at my LGS for $10

It uses the auto prime style tray but the tray is mounted on a contraption that looks alot like the Lee "ram prime".

I think it gives you the best of both worlds. With the hand held unit, I had a tough time getting some primers to seat all the way. No such trouble with the press mounted Auto Prime II...

Here is a link (can't buy them anymore but you can still read the reviews):

I have always used the RCBS...first one was good for many years, but eventually it wore out, bought a second RCBS late last year and it is JUNK.

I am in the market for something different now...I have had enough of this stuff that I am using.

As I've gotten older, I've moved away from handheld units to bench units...like the Co-Ax

I have a Lee XR, new model. After about 4 years use I recently sent it back in for repair. The tray tops were broken and the spring had weakened, so the lever stuck and required it to be manually reset. I'm 28 and consider myself to have pretty strong hands, but after about 100 rounds I have thumb fatigue. I've thought about a bench or press mounted system but do like the amount of feedback I get while seating.

If you have weak-ish hands I would look elsewhere.
