TL;DR: I love the hand-guards that come standard on BCA uppers and want to find an 11 inch long one that’s as close to that design/style as possible.
Long version:
Does anyone know of a handguard that’s exactly like the mlok ones that come standard on the BCA uppers? I have a Palmetto 12.5 Grendel upper, and the only thing holding it back is the handguard. I need about an inch longer to have enough real estate for back up irons, a light mount (I’ve tried mounting a rail section on the mlok at 3 o clock but it interferes with my grip) and the pressure switch for the light. Also, the ventilation holes on the rail are just the perfect size for my thumb to slip through and touch a hot barrel, and are uncomfortable when shooting. The bulge towards the rear for the qd sling mount also is a pain in the sacral spine when the rifle is slung across my back.
my Google fu is pretty weak on this one, and I’d appreciate some direction.
