Handgun in NM

I have a bull tag for a rifle hunt in NM this fall. My wife is coming along on the trip and may go out with us some but will not be hunting. Can she legally carry a handgun in the woods without a hunting license?
She has a KY CCW license and we have full reciprocity with New Mexico. I tried a search of the NM fish and game website, but couldn't find an answer to this Question. Thanks, Jim

Well, anyone can open carry anywhere not prohibited by state and federal law, same for CC. But NM state parks are off limits.
