What would be a minimum list of the guns you would need to play in all of the Handgun gun games, I do not want the full race versions but what the average Joe shooter would need to compete with at a novice or startup level.
This is an add to list as needed but not a model list

ie; you need a
6 shot revo 4" barrel for IDPA SSR class

ie NOT; you gotta have a S&WglockrugerSIGkorthHKautorevo cause it is what I have!!!!! what else is there!!!!!!

Absolute bare minimum -

One very accurate .22 semi with adjustable iron sights. (ISU standard and free, NRA Bullseye .22 stage, smallbore MSP, maybe some others?)

One very accurate singlestack 1911 with adjustable iron sights (NRA Bullseye centerfire and .45 stages, Steel Challenge, IPSC/USPSA, IDPA CDP, pins, more sillouhette, Singlestack Classic, Action Pistol.)

One CZ-75 or similar gun (IDPA SSP and ESP class, IPSC Limited class, anything else that needs a centerfire gun.)

One bolt-action pistol in a flat-shooting caliber (IHMSA, NRA Hunter's Pistol.)

One J- or K-frame revolver, or a Colt Detective Special, or similar (ICORE, IDPA SSR and backup, anything else that needs a wheelgun.)

One archaic single-action revolver (CAS.)

I'm sure I missed some sports, and you could probably trim the list down even further by being totally silly. If it's not silly enough, that is, to use the same 1911 for both Bullseye and IPSC... :D
