Handguns That Don't See A Lot Of Use?

If I find that I'm not shooting a gun anymore, I turn around and sell it. That's how I parted with my Model 57, Model 25, and my CZ-97B. Other guns I sold to buy a new one.

I don't regret it, either. The two older S&W were nice guns, collectibles even. I sold 'em to someone that'll give 'em a better home than me; they were just gathering dust on my shelf. I made some money, and I helped a friend who's a dedicated N-Frame collector expand his collection. Win-win.

I don't collect guns, I shoot them. I know what you're saying though, sometimes you get a gun you like but it just always seems to get left out when packing for a range trip.

I had that situation with a HiPower I had, great gun in every respect and I shot it well but it just never made the trip. I did sell it and thought twice about it but used the money to buy a gun that gets shot a lot (GP-100) along with a bunch of gear to go with several other guns. When I sell a gun, every dime of the money goes back into guns with the exception of a brief perieod of Harley insanity that is thankfully over with.

I've got a bunch that I don't shoot on a regular basis. Usually when I go to the range it's the BHP's, Witness Match, XD9 for pistol shooting.

Colt Trooper, Beretta .22 Minx, 2 M1 Carbines, 1 M1 Garand, 1 BM59, 2 MK4 Enfields, Mini14 just to name a few. The only saving grace was that they were all sold to upgrade to bigger and better.
