Sorry, I don't know if I'm just dense when it comes to these things, but you're gonna have to dumb it down for some of us. What is that supposed to even mean?

I wish you hadn't posted that.

The next thing you know, there will be a bill in congress to make us all buy a low-cap stick to go in our Shoulder Thing That Goes Up.

LMAO!

I, the OP and a non-hunter, would not have thought there would be so much confusion over the proper use of the pictured implement.

Please feel free to send the photo to the person of your choice in need of an education regarding firearms and the 2nd Amendment, and let them know, in a respectful manner, where something like this is supposed to be put.

I had no idea what you were talking about with that pic. In my original state of residence, the pictured item is used for anything and everything except limiting mag capacity.

Most often it was used to bring others around to one's way of thinking, followed by showing one the error of their ways, followed distantly by used for trying to figure out which cylinder had the valves going bad in an engine. But never mag capacity.

Nevermind that you're from NJ as well...lol.

A small story.
My first shotgun was a 12 gauge 1956 Ithaca Model 37 with a Polychoke.
After I found out that there were lots and lots of Model 37's around, I bought it for $250
to have my gunsmith cut the barrel down to 18 1/2 inch riot size.
Measured twice before I brought it home.
When I got it back and went to try it out, to my horror the magazine
would only hold 2 rounds when it was supposed to hold 4.
That's how I learned about magazine plugs.

To hunt migratory waterfowl.

Federal law limits shotguns to 3 shots, 2 in the mag & 1 in the chamber.

There are also some states or wildlife areas with a 3-shot limit for hunting.

That must be one of those muzzlebrakes.

Buuut... how does it go up?

(thx RC is laughed hard.)

Shame on you for making your sporting shotgun into a deadly military style weapon with the addition of that removable "stick mag."
