Now that the ban is over, i've got a question that's been nagging at me. would it be possible to install a quad rail FF tube on an AR pistol (10 1/2" BBL) or would that leave me in violation of NFA '34?
 
No problem with a horizontal foregrip around the barrel. If you want to attach a vertical foregrip to the rail, you gotta register it as an AOW first.
