You know, we've seen a lot of Americans placed in hard situations in the past two years. We've had emergency response, police, and everyday citizens who responded heroically, sometimes at the cost of their lives, when confronted with terrorism. We have had many service personnel placed in harm's way in several overseas conflict zones. We have seen the best of many of our countrymen, and they are truly heroes.
While seeing the footage of our brave countrymen, and hearing of other exploits, perhaps we forget some of our heroes. Good, solid folks who labor every day to give their children a good home environment, keep them clothed and fed, and live solid lives that will show their kids how to be. We need strong families to make strong citizens to make a healthy nation. So, to all our fathers, laboring largely unrecognized in the trenches, thank you. Happy Father's Day.
