Just a heads-up for those of you trying to find Small Rifle primers and cannot locate any locally or your on-line source has dried up. Champions Choice has plenty, just bought a case of CCI400 $28 per 1000.
Here’s their info:

Makes me feel good about the cases I bought this past fall. I gave $50 per 5K for CCIs and Winchesters at a local gun shop. (stock up I did!):what:

Good purchase, arizona. Wolf SR go for $95 per 5000 here. That's $19 per thousand.

Thanks....I doubt I'll ever stumble across a deal like that again. :( I stocked up on small rife and small pistol. I thought I had a case of large pistol on the shelf but I didn't. :what: By the time I got back, the large pistols were gone....so I bought another case of small rifle to make the 15 minute drive worth while. ;)

Edit: I'm thinking Wolf will be my next purchase for my large pistol needs.

I still have one box from the Winchester SRP case I bought in PA at a gunshow two years ago at $70.00 - $13.99 each. Probably won't see that again. Most shops here in the SE are out of small rifle primers due to military orders getting filled (my understanding of the shortage) and it'll be a few weeks until the back orders are filled.
Don't know much about the Wolf primers, shot a lot of their 22LR stuff it's great.

According to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, we sport shooters consume 3 times as many rounds as the military and national guard in combat and training combined.
Most likely, the primer shortage is the result of shooters taking up reloading in response to the rising cost of factory ammo.

Cool, Champion's Choice is about 10 min from me. Too bad 20 min past them is a fully loaded toy store that has everything in stock all the time and cheaper too. :neener:

That's nice info, but horribly expensive, especially when you add in shipping and the haz fee. Probably I should just shut up and pay and buy a few thousand, but this gouging really irks me. Besides, I have little powder and few bullets and can't find either! What good to pay through the nose for 10K primers when I barely have enough powder and bullets to load 1K?

This thread is 4 months old and "no" they don't have any primers.

Hah!! What a bunch of wizzards we are! I didn't even notice the original date. I guess the ligts were on, but nobody home, at least in my case!

Unfortunately not. Local pickup only. If you are local let me know and I will provide their info. If not, sorry to tease you. :neener:

You think it is bad, they have everything I need in stock and I have no budget for it. NONE!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead:
