    Of course they're aloud, especially when you hear the "snap" of the legs being pulled into place. :neener:


    In all seriousness though, I don't see why they wouldn't be.

    so it should be ok on a steyr 308 with a Schmidt & Bender 5-25x56 Police Marksman LP 34mm scope

    If it's a long gun that shoots farther than 5ft I'm sure the ATF will consider it a sniper gun. :evil:
