Watching Fox news and laughing at the Demos -- Lemmeesee how about Harry Reid ( what about your sons Harry?) and Fat Teddy saying " the Conservative Right ruined her". What a crock.

Let's get a True conservative and CRAM HIM (or her) DOWN THEIR THROATS. Show their agenda!

They will die a slow, painful death. Their last bastion in this country is our courts. They know that jig is up, so now they want the "global test".

Hey DEMOS Pound Sand!!!!

There are 101 sound reasons why Bush might have picked Miers. Not the least of which is "I've known her for years, and I know I can trust her to do the right thing." Or perhaps "She's not one of those Washington-insider-career-judges that have done such a disservice to the country." If you can't think of any others, then perhaps you need to send your imagination in for warranty work.

But the fact that YOU didn't kow his reasons doesn't mean he didn't have any. Nor does it mean his reasons are automaticaly evil, sinister, or stupid. It only means that you didn't know what was really going on. (But that's okay, none of us did. And that was the trouble, we wanted to know for ourselves.)

Regardlesss of whether Bush has some Master Plan, he went about justifying her nomination in a ridiculously arrogant way that amounted to this:

BUSH: Eat your carrots; they are good for your eyesight.

ENTIRE COUNTRY: How do you know they are good for our eyesight?

BUSH: Dammit, I know they are good for your eyesight; how many rabbits do you see wearing glasses??

Delightful. Very much in character for him.

I really hope he gets the cluepon we sent him and picks a conservative judge this time.

I'm hoping Janice Rogers Brown, but I'd settle for Luttig or Kozinski, all 3 of whom are brilliant judges with a strong conservative/libertarian flavor to them.
