If any of you have done this can you post pics? I know I want to do some kind of camo job on mine I just cannot figure out what to do i.e. the entire rifle, specific parts, etc. I was thinking of doing some kind of a flectarn but would like to have an idea of how this is going to look beforehand of course. I cannot find anything online with such a camo job.

^^^ now that is what I am talking about! That is awesome. I think I am going to go with something more German on mine rather than multicam but that is a sweet AK! Did you do it yourself or send it off? If you did it yourself what did you use and how did you pull it off?

I used Krylon to camo my AK. I was going for something a bit more muddled than the flecktarn that you're trying for, but it worked well and gave the rifle a nice, personal touch. The paint held up pretty well, though it did wear down in some areas as you can see.

The Multicam is really easy. The Flectarn a little more work, but still pretty easy.

I use mostly Testors model paints (Military Flats), but of late, some Krylon flat camo's too. The Testors can be totally removed later (with some work) if you dont like it or grow tired of the pattern. Thats the "same" AK in both pics you see above. Its been painted 4 or 5 times , and the Multicam was the last.

Heres a coulple of others in MC....

Not a 74, same difference though. Green Krylon, and some netting to make snakeskin patterns that didn't really show up in the picture
