The potential does exist that, if you really want/need some, it's worth paying a little more. Backorders will probably take awhile to fill, and there is a CHANCE that there will be a mag/capacity ban passed before the backorders are filled.

I have mine on backorder with Brownells. I have mags right now and refuse to pay the ridiculous prices that people are charging. I'll get my mags eventually.

It's getting silly because, like the OP, everyone wants some right now.

I backordered a ten-pack on Brownell's before Christmas. Still haven't been billed for them. We'll see what happens. No way I'm willing to pay $40-70 for each $12-15 magazine.
