Has anyone here loaded #0000 buck yet?

Didnt even know you could get it. How many pellets in it? And what caliber are the pellets? Must be close to .40?! If 000 is 33 cal.

I didn't know they made it in factory loaded ammo. I just have a jar of the shot. The pellets are about .375" in dia.

The run of thumb is anything larger than OO buck in a 12 gauge will never pattern consistently enough to use. Assuming your shooting a 12, OOOO buck would be even worse. But, let us know how it turns out-

Seems it only comes in 3-1/2".

I have some 000, quite a bit of 00 and a couple boxes of 0. But I really like #4. Since I mostly buy 2-3/4" stuff so they can be used in my New Haven coach and my shorty M11, twenty seven 1/4" pellets is more appealing than 8 or 9 of the larger ones.

I suppose I'd give 0000 a try if I had a 3.5" gun, but since I don't.........

I'd be interested for two reasons:

1. My cylinder bore shotguns pattern Rem 000 better than any 00.

2. I own a .375H&H mag and would like inexpensive round balls for plinking loads.
