    againstthagrane,

The GD 147gr standard pressure 9mm has been my load of choice for my EDC Glock 19 for about two years now.

I've shot several boxes through two of my Model 19's now and am quite satisfied with the load. I prefer 147gr bullets for 9mm and have tried most of the popular personal protection loads currently on the market. I've never had a malfunction with the heavy bullet. But of course I've never had ANY malfunctions with my Glock 19s. :D

The GD 147's print to point of aim out to 20yds in my G19 and recoil is on a par with the WWB 147gr jhp load available at Wally Mart. Accuracy has been quite adequate for personal protection missions. I've shot metal plates and noted quick, solid knock downs equal to or better than any standard pressure 9mm I've tried.

I like the theory of the the bonded bullets. I've recovered several of the GD's from the sand/dirt at my range and have never seen a jacket separate. Of course, the bullets expanded wonderfully in the sand.

I also like the "slippery" feeling of the GD's casings, the result I believe of the plating process. It gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling that this might help with extraction but it's probably just all in my head. :)

    Cheers,
    dan :)

Hundreds through a Glock 19 and probably a hundred through a Glock 26. No problems at all.
