thanks guys. As for build date, I'll have to recheck it. I think the original owner may have said it was produced in the 90's, now that I think about it. I primarily bought the gun to use it as trail gun for self-protection. Got it off an old-timer who bought it for his wife, who never shot it. Paid $300 bucks even. Pretty good score, huh...
