I'll try and get a pic up of this barrel I bought a few years ago.
The barrel is a Hastings 3" chamber 24" long with a screw in choke - not a paradox slug barrel; I bought it for a Franchi Black Magic, but it was listed incorrectly from the seller. I decided he was a dirt clod and took my lumps on it.
Now it has been sitting in the closet for close to 8 years, I need to find out what it fits and either buy the shotgun or sell the barrel.
I KNOW what it doesn't fit, but I think ( but don't know:rolleyes: ) it might fit an 1100.
Looks close to my only 1100 in design, but the 28ga doesn't really look EXACTLY like it and the other Remington's are 1187 and 1196 models.
On the bottom of the barrel it is marked " PG 85" and what appears a serial # B06397 then a crown symbol with PT inside of the crown and a second set of numbers 18 5 and bigger numbers 76 then a 3-G . On the side it reads special steel 12 gauge shells 3" and on the robust rib has HASTINGS Made in France. The gas block has two holes in it, I'd only figure on one for a 3" shell.....
The wife said she will get the pics on this tomorrow.
Thanks for any replies, the website for Hastings is of no help.

Why not "CALL" Hastings and ask them? The information off the barrel will probably be enough!

Cannot get Hastings on the telephone, here is the pictures.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Can you show us a picture of the front end of the gas cylinder? That might help identify it.

My Beretta 390 has a 3" chamber and it has 2 gas ports in the barrel.

I'm thinking the barrel might be off an earlier model (301, 302, 303, etc) Beretta or perhaps a Franchi.

Are you sure it doesn't say "PB" instead of "PG"?

This barrel wouldn't work on any Beretta I own.
Might be able to get a little better idea with these pictures.
Hastings seems to be a front company for something else, I am getting suspicious after trying to call 4 times today.
