I had to post a thread on my recent business transaction with Comp-Tac (www.comp-tac.com) because I was so pleased!

I recently ordered a PX4 holster from them and I got it today and boy was I impressed. Not just with the holster but with the quality of service from this company. After placing my order I received three different email updates on the status of my order. It came in less than a week and on the packing slip was a little handwritten thank you message and a smiley face:)

What a nice thing it is to deal with a company that takes customer service seriously and take real pride in their products. Anyway I just wanted to pass this along to all who are interested, the good folks over at Comp-Tac get my official seal of approval for whatever it's worth.

Here are some pics of the new holster, now I can finally start carrying my PX4 as my ccw!

Is that the paddle holster or belt holster? I have a C-Tac for my Glocks, Pro Undercover for my Kahr and the paddle holster for my Sig P226 and P220. Great holsters!

I have that same holster for my P2000. I too was impressed with Comp-Tac's service. I got the handwritten thank you and even some candy with it as well. I even got my holster in a timely manner and left handed holsters seem to take longer. The holster quality is great and so was their service. I can see myself doing business with them in the future.

I have a comptac holster for my XD45c. I agree a great product and great customer service. I got a thank you note and some candy with mine.

I have been wanting to get a holster for my PX4. I think I will have to ask for it for christmas.

got a comp-tac too

have to agree it is by far the finest holster i have ever owned and customer service seems next to none, but i haven't actually had to call or inquire because the holster has never even thought about failing. i guess that makes customer service easy when you make a quality product the first time.

That is not going to remain very concealed under a light shirt like that riding over your front pocket. Looks like a nice little holster though.

I like how the front of the holster is cut far down - actually below the front of the ejection port - for a fast draw (clearing leath- ... I mean plastic faster), yet comes far back up enclosing the trigger guard for retention and safety.

I really love good leather holsters, but am not at all opposed to well designed, high quality plastic ones.

How much?

I use a rather nice Desanti leather holster for my PX4 Storm, and should Wisconsin ever get some form of CCW, or we affirm our "right" to carry openly... that will be my holster of choice, as it rides a bit higher on the hip and I can angle it further back if I choose to...

If I manage to get some more time later today, I'll post a couple of pics of it in both positions.

Oh yeah... how much did that little beauty cost you?
I got my Desanti for about $35 off ebay.

I have the IWB C-Tac for my Glock 36, good holster but some don't like the feel of an IWB. Quality item for sure!

Sorry I guess I should have mentioned the price.....

$61 including shipping, pretty reasonable if you ask me, especially considering the level of quality and service.

I like my CTAC, though I see now the newer clips have more adjustment holes. They seem to be an honest and hard-working company, so I'll do my part to keep them in business down the road.

BMacklem, I am curious... Since WI is one of the last states that has NO form of CCW, what are the regs for carrying a hand gun afield while hunting?

I originally bought a Comp-tac paddle for my Glock 23 to use as a competition rig but I like it so much I also use it for everyday carry!
