Have any of you bought a gun without shooting it first?

I never shoot before I buy, but I always make sure it fits my hand.
This is far better than buying on someone else's recommendation.

my first gun purchase was a sig sauer p226 9mm, without having shot it, and i LOVE that gun. fits perfectly in my hand and i could shoot it all day without discomfort.
