I'm still in a state of shock.

My wife has been laughing at me since this started. Apparently she was less concerned about the expenditure than I was. But then, she knows that she'll just sell them when I'm dead. I think she sees my gun collection as her retirement fund.

This is sort of weird. The two guns are serial numbered 140775 and 143776. They are 3,001 apart but at first glance they appear consecutively numbered (775 & 776). I did a double take when I first saw the numbers but then realized the difference. These were in the same collection and I am wondering if they were bought new as a set or if they were shipped together to the same destination. When they arrive I'll post pics and send for the letters from Roy Jinks at S&W.

My holy grail I havent bought yet there so many of them. I guess I would vote for a Colt Special combat. For my revolver Holy grail maybe a Minty 1st Gen S.A.A
