Hawke 4-16 x 50

Hi all,well i have been looking out for a good scope for my CZ .223 rifle and in the meantime i have been offered a Hawke 4-16 x 50 riflescope from the gun dealer i bought the rifle off,now i would love to know from you fellow shooters if you have ever had any of these Hawke rifle scopes or how would you rate them,i need something that i can knock about at daytime and night time,

Simmons Scopes

I have 3 simmons scopes. They were alright in Michigan but if I need to shoot any distance 100 - 200 yards in early morning or evening or overcast not so good. I can see a buck's antlers with my Nikon binocs but not through the scope. Kinda hard to shoot if the deer moves before getting the gun up. I got one of the first ones about 30 years old. That one is mounted on a 30-06 The other are on a .22 and a 20-06 I use to shoot cast bullets with. No problem keeping zero. shoo the 30-06 all the time with the old scope. Looking at upgrading to Vortex, Leapold or Nikon. I compared the
