I'm surprised, actually. Most people I've seen who are fans of Maher are left of center. I would have expected the ploy option to be the winner by a wide margin.

Where is the option for "Bill Maher can (bleep)

Bill Maher is nothing more then Michael Moore with a good hair cut and a nice suit.

They have the same fan base ... the fact that the poll is as close as it is may disprove mrapathy2000's contention that "this country is screwed"

I wish the premium movie channels would stick with movies. That's why I subscribe to them. I understand the Sundance Channel is going to start carrying Al Franken in Sept.. If it happens, I plan on dropping the package that includes Sundance. Why should I support something that is nothing more than a John Kerry commercial? I want more movies, and less liberal preaching.

I've got one of those new tv's - it came with not only an off switch BUT I have the ability to change the channel. I never watch Bill Maher. If you're bothered by him, I'd suggest upgrading your TV's - if you don't have the bucks to buy a new TV in this "We've turned the corner" economy then find the power plug and unplug it.

If you wanna see real libertarians (at least as far as I can tell) watch good 'ol Penn & Teller. :)

Libertarian Party website has article on Bill Maher.

another one of those situations I think where liberal/Democrat doesnt want to admit he is a liberal or Democrat.

just like Michael Moore told the press he is a Independent not a Democrat though is registered Democrat in Michigan and New York. what a suprise.

yes but no. poll shows country devided ripe for partisan politics and enemies to play freely and win.

I feel safe with or without any alerts. Here in the upper Ohio Valley we were devastated some time ago due to economic reasons. I figure any terrorist "teams" looking for a "target" would figure someone beat them to it already.:D
"The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws." Tacitus roman senator and historian (a.d. 56-115)
Has there ever been a state/country without nummerous laws?
