I actually bought a Sunday paper, I finally opened it today.

That is what I did when I heard about them from other posters. I was fortunate and didn't have to wait long for a location nearer me. I used their site to find locations in the event I was on a road trip...:)

I plan on being in the 'Rock from 25AUG-28AUG & maybe 29AUG (Wed-Sat & maybe Sun) for a wedding. My buddy's soon-to-be B-in-law is a member out at CASA, which is a fine place to send lead downrange, IMO. Good ranges, good folks.
 
Word is - one is coming to the N part of AR. Doing Demographics from what I understand. I suggested Mountain Home....don't ask my why I said so...It was the fist city that popped out of mouth.



jfruser I haveCollege classes everyday of the week - I think. I've already had to change twice. I don't know if they really needed to change time slots and instructors - or they saw I was signed up for them. :D I have a hunch my schedule will change again...I just checked the classroom enrollemnts on-line.

This is going to sound weird - when I quit competing in another sport some years ago - I dropped out of sight all together. In part due to security reasons.
I'm real low profile. I know folks that shoot at CASA , Benton Gun Club and such, only a handful of folks even know I exist, much less have shot a firearm of any kind. Put it this way - I'd get lost finding CASA , been that long . Plaxco used to shoot out there- that should give you an idea how long it has been. Plaxco gave me some valuabel insights on shooting. BTW he is awesome with a shotgun too. My last "offical" IDPA type deal was out of state....actually all of it was in other states. I've never shot it here in AR.

I run off to the middle of nowhere and shoot now-a- days. I don't get to do that as often as I once did. I'd move to TX or AZ in a heartbeat, live in the small house out back, servants quarters we used to call them, a room in the barn, anything ...commute to school , and just walk out back to shoot. That is what I really want.

You are welcome to holler, send a PM. We can discuss that other matter we touched on. I'm no big deal, I can do coffee, a burger or check out the AS. If schedule allows.
 
I would avoid the Lightning rim fire ammo. I have found it to be very erratic in velocity and very inaccurate.

CORRECTION- I was thinking of the Thundrbolt 22 ammo. Lightning is fins as far as I know. The ad says the ammo prices are everyday and not a sale price. Pretty good on the Win 9MM and did you see the Rem 40 S&W at $43 for 259 rounds? Also have a pump 12 for $137. Not bad for a brand new gun.
