I just got my second RJ front pocket holster last night for my S&W J-frame and the craftsmanship is top notch. I also have one for my NAA mini, and both are nice to look at, and are made with quality leather. His prices are usually a little higher than others, but its well worth it to get his top-quality work.

Although he is not currently accepting orders due to back-log (shows his product is in demand though) if you're looking for pocket holster I'd keep my eye on his website, and place an order when hes caught up. You will not be disappointed!

I've got an R.J. Hedley front pocket for my NAA Guardian .32 and it is great. Great guy to deal with too.

I've got one of his pocket holsters for my P3AT that's been my constant companion. RJ is top notch.

I misread the thread title the first time, and thought it said "heavy pocket monsters". I immediately pictured a Derringer in .500 S&W :what:

Good luck with the buy.

RJ Hedley is a well respected member here at THR (rhedley). His holster work is indeed top notch.

Maybe he can reply here as to when the backlog issue (a good thing) will be fixed. I need to order one of his holsters.

Well, since you asked...

Yes, R J is an artist....He does the holsters by himself only. He does have times he goes on vacation, and I don't blame him. At least you know if he is accepting orders or not, he doesn't keep you hanging. I heard he does this as a hobby, and almost not as a business. And it shows, top quality goods!

RJ Hedley is one of my all time favorite holster makers...I would recommend him to anyone without reservation...

He also is glad to assist new holster makers that pester the crap out of him with question after question :D

And AGAIN i must insist that I am MUCH better looking than RJ is :neener:

The Tail was waggin' the Dog.... Seven days a week, I need a rest, this is supposed to be relaxing for me :(

calling me out huh??

Misspelling my name huh??

Better lookin' ??

Sorry Azrael, but I must tell you, but you lose. I ran a survey down at the local Shop & Go, where I found a bus load of people from the Institute for the Blind,, they all had the same type of white cane.
I won, with a count of 21-4 :neener:
