Sg addiction...

Trust me friend I can understand this addiction, I too suffer from the same ailment. I sure wish I owned that HIGH STANDAR that's pictured, it's a fine looking SG.

Someone not long back had a similar looking Riot model but wanted 400.oo bucks and I couldn't bring myself to spend that much at the time seeing as how we're (my family) living from paycheck to paycheck. Just couldn't buy it with a clear conscience so I bought my son a MUCH NEEDED winter coat. Sure do feel good to see my boy warm and toasty as we've been hit with old man winter early this year.

But I do wish I had that High Standard... Oh well maybe further down the road.

Beautiful SG brother! Thanks for sharing.

im the same way, but im hung up on wheelguns

I understand your problem with wheelguns.
A friend of mine recently bought his first gun
A .38 Special Colt Police Positive with a 4 or six in barrel for about $250
The blueing still looked good and the grips looked great
Shoots like a dream

It's not fair that all these beautiful guns are out there tempting those of us with big appetites and little self discipline.

You done right.
Your son is lucky to have you as his father.

On a more somber note.
People are getting hit hard from one end of our great country to another.
And sons and daughters are stepping up to the line so that we at home can enjoy our freedom.
I hope it's not rude to share my good fortune.

How come I can never find these deals?

Whenever I find used shotguns it's either hunting configs or pardners or mavericks.

I have a similiar shotgun addiction. I keep finding these 20ga pump shotguns for prices around $100 or so. I'm thinking about having a gunsmith cut the barrels down on some of them if I purchase to make home defense, or "riot" guns, in 20ga. Imagine a well-handling shotgun with an 18.5" barrel with less than $175 into it, including the $50-$60 to get the barrel shortened, recrowned, and the bead reinstalled.
