I recently installed a taller front sight on my Marlin 336. I installed a Skinner Express and it was shooting high so I bought a taller front sight from them. Well, after installing the front sight I noticed it's got a pretty good cant to the left. I was just going to throw a scope on it and be done with it but I would really prefer to keep the iron sights and was wondering if there were any suggestions on a way to fix the issue. I didn't notice the original front being canted but it's possible that it's just easier to notice now without the hood. Is it possible I spun the barrel while installing the front sight?

If you feel that it came from Skinner Sights canted a little, just let them know. They have excellent customer service and I'm sure they'll make it right for you.

You could try bending it with a pair of pliers, too. Might compromise the integrity of it and make it break if it takes a good whack, though...
