I have recently been wanting to get a new pistol and have narrowed down my choices to either a variant of the 92fs, glock (17,20,or 34), or a pt1911. Just wanted to here some advice before I made a decision.

Just my personal choice in a 9mm, I prefer the Glock G34 to the Beretta 92f.
My G34 shoots better, feels better and has better and cheaper factory magazines. I use the Glock primarily as a USPSA production, and do admit the factory sights need to be replaced, I went with Dawson Precision sights. As far as the Taurus is concerned I would probably, and have invested in another type of 1911, from other makers, again just preference.
