What is your take on the FN1903 Handgun vs the M1911, I've been wanting one of them for awhile now and need recommendations on which handgun to buy and why.

Can't really speak to the FN. What I can say about a 1911, is that it's comfortable. Some hand guns have a natural fit. The 1911 design is one of those hand guns for me as you draw on a target and the natural position is on target. Meaning that as your starring at your target you raise the 1911 to the the firing position and it seams to naturally line up with your line of sight to the target. Depending on your hand size and grip it may or may not be the same for you.

Yeah I was leaning toward the M1911 just because the history behind the weapon, unfortunately I've never shot the M1911 but I have shot the FN1903, but I take it as you recommending the M1911 so that is probably what I'm going to go with .. Thanks for the reply.
