Help for a friend.

A fellow towboater friend of mine bought 2 shotguns for $400.A 12ga sxs Brazilian cheapo and a Lanber o/u 12ga,sporting model.I told him the Lanber would run $1000 new.How about used?

Lanbers can be found new for much cheaper than $1000. CDNN has them NIB for a bit over $599 (for the 2097 sporting)

I would think that $350-450 for a used one would be fair, depending on shape. I think your buddy made out pretty well.

Thanks,Tim.THat's about what I told him.He was going to sell the Lanber and keep the sxs.Changed his mind.I know where I can get him a nice Belgian -made 12ga sxs 1930's era for $390 since he wants a really traditional shotgun.
