Help hunting in St Louis

I am a new hunter in the St Louis area and would like some help finding some fruitful areas or even to get an experienced hunter to show me the ropes. I am a n experienced shooter but this will be my first year trying to harvest a deer, most likely antler-less.

Check the Hunting Mentors thread. Most of the posts (the first six pages, of seven total) are between two and six years old, so the people may not even still use this site regularly, but you might find someone.
