An acquaintance recently inherited a small collection of long guns and handguns from his texan grandfather. Hes not really a shooter, so he needs help ID'ing a number of the pieces.

He hasn't actually handled them yet, so this picture is all he has to start with.

I'm sure it'll be an easy task for you guys.

Thanks.

Wouldn't that be two ponies?

I don't much care about what I think is a BB gun in the upper left, or the davis/jennings on the middle right.

I'm mostly curious as to what the two bottom revolvers are, and the odd looking auto at the top.

I haven't seen a Beretta 1951 with the barrel protruding that much, don't think so on that one.

10 Ring Tao: can you type up, or zoom in on, the markings on the guns? That would help astronomically.

I'm dumb.

There was a "Special" version of the 1951 with a longer barrel but the sights and grips don't match. Could be a knock-off. Hard to place that one.

Gotta be some marking on them that you can share ?

The upper left is a Co2 powered air gun. Not a lot of $ , but they are somewhat collectable now.

I think the auto on top right may be a Star (Spanish)

The revolver (snub) looks like possibly an Astra (Spanish)

The Crome job auto is a Raven I think

The SA is probably a Bufflo Scout which is a knock off of the Colt Scout made in Europe.

The top semiauto looks like one of the spanish Star pistols, but i maybe wrong
a close-up with markings on the slide will certainly help

Top left - agree, probably a pellet gun made up to look like a SAA
Top right - French Unique Corsair .22 lr
Next left - Charter Arms Undercover .38 Special
Next right - cheap .25 unknown to me.
Bottom - Either a Colt Scout .22 lr with finish stripped off frame or a copy right down to the "horsie" on the grips.

None are of high dollar value.
The Unique Corsair and the Scout are decent .22 plinkers but the rust sure needs to be gotten off the Unique.
The Charter Arms is a fairly good small revolver for self defense.

Max is right. The pistol in the upper right corner is a Spainish Star. I'd have to look up the model. The snub-nosed revolver is a Charter Arms. On the upper left you have a Crossman CO2 B-B pistol, and on the lower right there is a Colt Scout .22 revolver. None are particularly valuable, but the Colt and the Star are the best of the lot.

Can't be sure about the small vest pocket pistol (most likely .25 ACP) but it looks like a Raven.

I think the auto in the upper right is a Star.

The snubbie is a Charter Arms (older model with exposed ejector rod).

Pocket auto looks like a Raven, but I've never seen stocks like that on one.

The Crosman pistol is probably their "45" model pellet gun. You'd be surprised, there's a good deal of collectible interest these days.

At least a couple of them look like fodder for the next gun turn in...

$100 for each gun, regardless of condition.

LOL! Thats exactly what I just included in my email to him...

Whatever this one is, its junk. The best you'd be able to get for it is like $30. Save it to hand in at one of those worthless-but-makes-people-feel-good-about-themselves 'gun buybacks'.

Here are a couple examples of gun buyback "success" stories: [insert links to your two narratives]

Jim Watson is right on about the French-made Unique. I have one in my accumulation (I hesitate to call it a collection) of firearms that I picked up for $150. Mine is marked as a Western Field No5 (Montgomery Wards if I'm not mistaken) and came with the original box, owners manual and a holster. It cleans up nicely, though I haven't taken it to the range. The date on the test target was April 1954. The Corsair, if I remember is also known as a Model D. Feel free to correct me if I am incorrect.

Sorry, everything was ID'ed and I was asked to take the pic down. Hes new to the guns scene and is still kind of wary about having pics of his guns online. Once he gets a couple hes really proud of, I'm sure he'll come around and show them off just like everyone else.
