I scrolled down to the Action Arms list of model numbers. And they describe the "transitional guns" The description of the rifle is correct, but the SN# in the web sites description says "Around SN# MR076xx" and the rifle I am speaking of is in the MR072xx range. The rifle is also not marked Galil in the stampings above the thumb selector switch. It reads...

CALIBER 7.62/.308
MODEL 332
IMI-ISRAEL

Then above the trigger a little ways it is stamped....

ACTION ARMS LTD. PHILA. PA.

Next, the SN# is sideways by the hand guard (reads bottom to top)

MR 072xx

On the other side of the rifle it is marked...

06X

Like the above linked web site, it looks like Magnum research was machined off and Action Arms was stamped over it. There is also a machined out section next to the Model 332 marking( it is oval in shape). There is also a faint circle marking close to the serial number with a 3, lower case m or w. (possibly a B?)(depends on how you look at it.) This same marking is also on the barrel next to a 02 marking as well.

I have seen other Transition guns with the same markings and the MR serial number prefix machined down in a oval indention and then AA added in place of the MR.

Does this rifle hold more value because of the unique markings. I know that the rifles that are not marked Galil on them are a little rarer
