Hi all,

Picked up some reloading equipment as a group deal. Had parts I wanted and some I didn't need but it was everything for a fixed price.

I ended up with four shell holders. Three of them are numbered and likely RCBS holders. Can you verify from the pictures?

The fourth is unmarked. Any ideas as to what this one is?
There's a few other things that I'll post later as well. But figured I would take the shell holder first!

Thanks for the help.

The 4 shell holders pictured fit a Herters press, although the numbers appear to match RCBS, the #1 is the #3 RCBS shell holder. If I could see the numbers on the other 3 shell holders I could identify them for you.

The shell holder is retained by set screws, it appears someone screwed the set screws too tight, and that is a problem because the top of the ram is spared when the screws are too tight. The only function of the set screws is to remove the case from the die when the ram is lowered.

and I would suggest you measure the deck height of the shell holders, the deck height should be .125".

#17 is for 8mm Lebel and the #2 fits the 30/30 and wildcats that have been formed from the 30/30.

It is always the other way around, there is an adapter for the RCBS press when using Herters shell holders.

Thanks F
Will check. Think the #17 may also be for the 224 Weatherby.
Part of the collection was a case holder for a trimmer for the Weatherby shells.

Thanks again for the help. Still new to this so just getting things setup.
