Friends, my brother gave me some old .38 Special reloads, maybe from the 80s or 90s. One of my sons and I pulled the bullets. The bullet is a 125 grain JHP. It has a somewhat shallow hollow point cavity. I looked through the pictures on the Midway website and couldn't find anything just like it. Do any of you recognize it? Thanks, Jeff

That is either a Sierra JHP or Montana gold

Win, rem, Speer, and hornady all have slight skives around the exposed lead that this bullet does not have

Another vote for Sierra.

Old School Pre-Power Jacket Sierra :). That same bullet used to be loaded in Federal Factory .38 +P and .357 Magnum Ammunition.

Just my .02,
LeonCarr
