Hi all,

I know you folks have tackled the Velos before. So, I'll ask for your help too! I'd like to know the manufacturer of this gun. I think this was made in Belgium. Not sure of caliber. Might be 25. I've attached a couple of pics.

It has several marks along the barrel. Some are symbols which I can't reproduce here so I'll just put a * to represent them where they are stamped. Here's what's stamped on the barrel: *R*PV*F*PVF.

On the other side near the safety "FEU" and what looks like "BUR" is stamped.

Can anyone tell me who made it?

Thanks!

It could have been made by any one of the host of Belgian firearm makers.
"...FEU..." Is French for fire. The BUR can't be right. SUR means 'on' though.

Yes. After I posted the msg I checked some French translations. Feu means "Fire" and what I thought was "Bur" is most likely "Sur" which means "on"--for the safety.

But, what company manufactured this and when?
