Ive got a couple boxes like that. They were supposed to be from thr 80s 90s according to my buddies dad

I have a similar green cardboard box of Sierra 303 cal .311 dia 180 gr, Spitzer 2310 bullets.
The last reloads I did for my Lee-Enfield were dated 1996 so the Sierra green cardboard bullet boxes were on the store shelves in the 1990s.
My Sierra box top is simpler than the one in the opening post.
But I have come across Winchester boxes that were deliberately retro for nostaglia sake.

I presume the opening poster is curious about when the green cardboard box was made. Sierra .257 Diameter 120 gr Hollow Point B.T. are listed at Sierra's website but I believe they come in green plastic boxes today.

Added: I would expect Sierra bullets (same listed bullet diameter, weight, and style) to be consistent over the years, and would be suprised if there were any detectable difference in accuracy between bullets from that old raggedty cardboard box and a new shiny plastic one.

Recently used the last of some paper box Sierras. I too was concerned the new plastic box ones would do as well. They do. :)

Look on the bottom of the box and see if their address is listed as Santa Fe Springs or Missouri? If Santa Fe Springs, then it's before the move. They moved to Missouri in 1990, if that helps.

I have bought many boxes of those Sierra bullets at gun shows over the years. But for the price I can't tell any difference between them and the ones in the newer packaging.

The last batch I bought were for the .357 Magnum and 30-06. The usually come with less than a full box by only a few but at a greatly discounted price just like I like it lol.
