Help in identifying scope on AR-15:

Can anyone tell me what brand and model this (4x20scope) is?

Years ago Colt had 3x and 4x scopes made in Japan that attached to the carry handle just like that.

If it is not one of those then it is one of the Chinese copies currently available.

Could be a Japanese Hakko, who was Colt's OEM, and who still sells them under their own name. I have a Hakko 4x21mm which looks a lot like the one in the pic. The optics are pretty good, but I haven't sighted it in yet.
 
Dave: does the Hakko brand appear on the scope?
Mine only has a 5 digit number and the magnification specified...
 
I have a Colt 4x on my AR, only says Japan on it. Not a bad scope, limited field of view, clear optics. Raesonably accurate.
