I just purchased Hi-Vis sights for my Browning Buckmark Camper.
I removed the old sight by simply taking out the screw that holds it in place.
There is a metal peg that is on the top of the barrel that fits into a small hole on the original sight. The Hi-Vis sight has no hole. Therefore the "peg" keeps the new sight from mounting flush with the barrel.
The sight said that it was made for this gun (as well as the Rugar).
Do I need to remove that "peg" from the barrel?
Do I need to drill a hole in the new sight?
Is the sight defective?
I Emailed Hi-Vis last week but they never responded. I thought maybe one of you guys might know.
Thanks!
