Well, Ramshot is who provided that info some time back. It may very well be that they've moved production.

The jugs of Zip in the garage sho' nuff say 'Made in Belgium', so no quarrel with that.

I exclusively use 231 under 185 and 230 grain XTPs. In my G21, most accurate load for me is 5.2g of 231 under the 230 with CCI primers. YMMV...

Edit: I did pick up some HP38 due to being low on 231 and plan on using it the same as 231.

As you can see from the replies, the 45acp works great from several powders. Unique doesn't meter as well as some, but it is a near perfect powder for the heavier weight bullets. 231 works great for reduced and cast loads. Bullseye is a bit dirty and you may notice a bit more recoil with full loads, but it is economical. Other powders I have used include Green Dot and American select. I've been wanting to try WSF. It worked great in my 9mm, but I ran out before trying it in 45ACP. Longshot, Tightgroup and Power Pistol are also on the short list to try.
If you don't want to weigh every charge, 231, Bulleye and WSF meter better than the flake powders such as Unique, Green Dot etc.
Since I load mainly soft target ammo, I choose 231. Unique should serve you well for your intended purpose.

Ok, so I just picked up some 200 grain XTP'S to try s well as the 230's. Can someone tell me what the Hornady book says for the seating depth on the 200's?? low and high data for Unique would rock too :D

Hornady #8 does not list Unique with their 200gr XTP.
They do list my favorite, Power Pistol. 6.6gr (800fps), 7.0gr (850), 7.4gr (900), 7.8gr (950), 8.2gr (1000). Loaded to 1.230".
Only other powders they list at 1,000fps are Long shot, Silhouette, and AA#5. Silhouette is a very low flash powder.

Work up any loads to confirm safe and accurate from your firearm.
